Cape Eleuthera Resort and Yacht Club are located on a 9 mile private peninsula of land covering 4500 acres of natural beach preserve, approximately 180 flight miles south east of Florida and 56.7 nautical miles east of Nassau. Our central location is ideal for both private pilots and yachts. From the USA and Canada: you want to either fly directly to Eleuthera from Florida, or fly to Nassau from your city of origin. Once in Nassau, you can make a connection by plane or ferry boat to our island!

Airline Service to Rock Sound (RSD) - 22 miles/40 minute driving time to Cape Eleuthera
Private charters can be an economical and convenient way to travel to our island. Charters are ideal for groups and/or families that want the flexibility of being able to make their own flight schedule.
The Bahamas Fast Ferry, a fast boat that goes from Nassau to North Eleuthera and Harbor Island, as well as Nassau to Governor's Harbor, in about 2 hours. Click here for schedules. Please contact either Potters Cay or family island reservations agents for all enquiries, reservations and ticket purchases. Advanced ticket purchases (reservations) are recommended. Marina & Yacht Club
Cape Eleuthera is the largest marina in all the Southern Bahamas and is the only marina with 12-15' deep water entry and accommodating vessels over 200' with a 450' mega yacht dock. We have three phase power and amenities from yacht provisioning to yacht management, service and repairs.

Currently our on site private 6500' long air strip runway (CER) is closed undergoing renovation.

The Reservations and Information Office must be notified of flight arrival information. Transfers & rentals are not included in any room rate or package pricing. No commission will be paid on the transfer service fees as these services are provided as a courtesy. All transfer and car rental charges will be placed on their guest folio for their convenience. We encourage that you allow the resort to assist with these services so your clients will receive the most reliable vehicles, professional agents, and excellent customer service on island. The Cape Eleuthera Express (CEX) will arrange private transfer service to Cape Eleuthera from all three island airports. Please call us at 242-470-8242 to coordinate.
Rock Sound (RSD) - $80.00 each way for up to 4 persons and 4 bags. $2 fee for each add’l person. RSD is 22 miles/30 minute driving time to Cape Eleuthera
Governor’s Harbour (GHB) - $170.00 each way up to 4 persons and 4 bags. $2 fee for each add’l person. GHB is 56 miles / 1 hour 10 driving time to Cape Eleuthera
North Eleuthera (ELH) - $270.00 each way up to 4 persons and 4 bags. $2 fee for each add’l person. ELH is 90 miles / 2 hours driving time to Cape Eleuthera
Service to Cape Eleuthera from Car Rentals may be prearranged. We request at least 7 days notice. All vehicles must be returned in the same condition with the same level of fuel when first rented.
Economy Car (4 door compact vehicle, seats 4 person with 4 bags) - $90 per day or discounted rate of $70 per day for rentals of 7 days or longer.
SUV or Van (more difficult to obtain, seats 5 persons with 5 bags) - $110 per day or discounted rate of $100 per day for rentals of 7 days or longer.
(Note: Taxi/transfer rates are established by the Govt and subject to change. They require that all vehicles must not be older than 2003 and are in very good working condition.)
