Victorious Vicki the Dolphin Slayer

Two weeks of fishing off the Cape and Vicki produces a 30# Bull and a 20# Cow Dolphin aboard the family Vessel Victorious.  Vicki and Sergio were greeted by new guest arrivals at the dock while the arriving children were thrilled to watch the fish cleaning and related 12 nurse sharks that like to feed from the Fisherman’s table. Needless to say, fresh dolphin was shared at the Bahama Coffee Company compliments of Vicki and Sergio!

Record Lionfish Caught at Cape Eleuthera!

Guest Zach Timmons caught this record Lion Fish off the reefs near Cape Eleuthera.

The fish was an amazing 17.25″ long and is believed to be a record for Eleuthera the Bahamas.

Scientists at the Cape Eleuthera Institute commented after viewing the fish that they have only seen Lion fish this large while 600′ deep off the Cape’s wall in a sub.

Several professional local spearfisherman offer spear fishing as an alternative to hook line fishing at the Cape for instructional and competition spear fishing. Also know that Lion Fish is a regular “We Cook your Catch” at the Bahama Coffee Company waterfront restaurant. Lion fish is a very mild sweet white fish, often preferred to local grouper and snapper when prepared by Chef Lisa Culmer.

Goliath Grouper pulled from Deep Dropping at Cape Eleuthera

Sergio posts another big fish from the deep off the Banks of the Cape to prove this grouper a chiller in the igloo cooler. ”I think he needed a bigger cooler”. 

Guests back at the “T” Dock could not believe a fish so large as “Victorious” threw him up on the dock for the visitors to marvel. Guests from the Balconies of the villas could see the catch.

Needless to say the Bahama Coffee Company waterfront restaurant will be serving fresh grouper prepared by Chef Lisa Culmer…compliments of our Angler hero Sergio!
